| MapQuiz is a piece of
software published by Homestead Press that quizes to user on their knowledge of the names
and capitals of the world's countries. The
latest release corrects some bugs. All countries with no capitals (city-states) work
correctly. South America works.
Designed to be used on the Win 95/98 platform, the program
presents the user with a graphical interface and easy to use map interface. The end
product of a continued use of the software is a comprehensive knowledge of the countries
of the world. MapQuiz is being distributed as freeware on the Internet (at this
site, in fact). This site and the current release of MapQuiz (v. 1.5.x) are both
